Hello Don,
First off, are you related to the Stockstall's?
In 1971 my cousin went to Galena MO. She was taking
pictures of the bank, there was a very old man setting there on the steps, she asked if he knew any of the Davis's
from there, he said yes, but they had all moved away.

His name was Jim Jenning's, his grandparents were Effie Stockstill, every one called her Ebbie, she married first Mayes, then Jennings, I think that would be Dick Jennings.

Almost all the Davis's left Galena About the same time, before 1895,to Pueblo Colo. Some of the Stockstills moved there too. Ike Stockstill, his father was Richard.

I was hopeing to hear from someone with the storys of Galena Missouri, I am still doing search on that.
I don't think I would want to live in that area around 1860 to 1869, what history that area has.

I will go over some of my records when I am feeling better,
I have a very bad cold, I feel like heck.
