In the waiting room to the jail there are pictures on the wall of all of the Stone County Sheriffs. I need to go there in the next couple of weeks to the cemetery and to take pictures of other past Sheriffs. If I can remember I will take a picture of it and if it turns out I can email it to you.
Contact me if you don't hear from me within a couple of weeks - just in case I can't find this page again - or I may forget.
I had an ancestor Allie Sartin that married a Moore girl (Jessie) born in 1900 but I have not research any info on her - so there may be a connection - cousins or something - you never know.
1900 census I found 2 Williams, 1910 3 Williams - but you did not give enough info to determine if one of them is him.
