A JPG. album in the Shelby Co, MO, folder contains an old burial list, pans, maps and a 'walk-through' survey of Wood Cem. http://public.fotki.com/iowaz/shelby-co-missouri/ Wood Cemetery (complete digital survey), is 4mi NW of Shelbina, Salt River Twp, Shelby Co, Missouri or located in the NW1/4 of the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of section 14, T57N, R11W. The album starts with a frontal view of the cemetery, followed an old 1964 list of burials, a labeled Google and Topo map. Next comes a series of pans/overviews from all corners and sides. Then a full digital survey starting in the NE corner and walking down each row from the east to west side. Row one being the northern row; row ten the southern most row. Each burial plot area and marker is zoomed into as one walks along. File names describe a series of pics or may indicate the start of a series or the topic of a pic. The pics are numbered in sequence by topic, thus the thumbs will have to be browsed to find Row 1, pic 1, the start of the walk-through survey. There are many unmarked plots in the cemetery. The album finishes with old atlas, topo, aerial, Google maps of the area. Picture file names generally describe the picture location or topic. Clicking on a thumb will open a med. size pic. Clicking on the link, 'original uploaded...' which is below the med size pic, will open a pic/map large enough to read. The maps needed thus can be downloaded to your harddrive. DO NOT order pics from the hosting site unless that is what you absolutely want to do, as any of the material from my albums can be downloaded free to your own harddrive to utilize, print, save, etc. A high speed connection should be able to browse the picture series to locate areas of interest. However, I am guessing a dial-up modem will not be able to function with this site. I am constantly moving folders and albums around as I have not stabilized my organization of this picture hosting site, but will try to put anything related to Shelby Co. in the above folder. Otherwise the photo hosting site will just have to be browsed for a folder that was once utilized, but has been moved http://public.fotki.com/iowaz/ Regards, Z Barry Zbornik, Hannibal, MO, iowaz@hotmail.com Notify Administrator about this message?
