Many of you who frequent this message board are familar with Sen. Joshua Chilton, who died at the hands of Federal troops on the 26th of August 1862. His death, and the deaths of those who were with him, were said to have taken place between Salem and Rolla, MO. Does anyone know where he is buried? Were the bodies ever re-interred. If the answer is yes to either question then, are the graves suitably marked. I can be contacted directly at cbjames49@hotmail.com.

Jim Morris
