I have been searching everywhere trying to find Richard "Dick" and Frances "Fannie" Johnson. I have been told that Richard died in December 1932; Fannie - no clue. My father said that they were known to travel from Tennessee to Sikeston or New Madrid quite a bit and it has also been said that both were buried in New Madrid. My father told me today (5/23) that they could have been buried somewhere in or around Sikeston or Morley.
I have looked at the records that have been made available online and am frustrated because most of the cemetery records feature just information collected from specific families or no information at all. Even death records have been uninformative. Can someone please contact me if you have information regarding these two individuals?
I am in the southern section of middle TN and it is a LONG drive to Missouri so traveling is not really an option right now. I hope someone can help solve the mystery that has haunted 3 generations of family and we can locate our elusive ancestors.
