I am trying to find out the death date for Lavernie V. HIGGS. She died 1965 and that's the only date on her headstone. ;(
Her headstone shows..Lavernie V. HIGGS...But her name is
Lubernie PUGH who went by the nickname "Bernie"
I need to find out who her parents are and where she was born. She and her husband are both buried at Matthews Cemetery, Matthews, New Madrid County, Missouri.
Yes, I tried to call the funeral home ( see info below )
and talked to a lady who acted like she was to busy to help me and said the name didn't ring any bells, I even left my name and phone number.
I'm thinking maybe if a local person could go there in person it might make a difference.
I have been posting and posting all names who connect to this PUGH and HIGGS line and no replies. Nobody is searching these lines I guess.
If you can help in any way I would really appreciate it.
