I would appreciate any information you can find on the death (primarily the date) of my great grandfather Hugh Madden, also shown on various records as Hugh P.,Huel P., and Hewell P.
He would have died sometime between 1884 and 1892. He was shown on the 1880 census (age 42) in Sandywoods Twp with wife Nancy and several children. He has a tombstone in the old section of the Old Morley Cemetery but it only shows his name and the names (some are nicknames) of his children, no dates. An odd thing is that this stone and a previous smaller stone have been there for at least thirty years that I know of and yet he doesn't show up on the cemetery readings that I have seen for Old Morley Cemetery.??? Thank you in advance for your time.
