I don't have any "official" information in the way of vital records, but I do have a copy of Eugene Dodge's book "A Town Called Memphis".

In it, Maude McKenzie is listed as a member of the Class of 1922 of the Memphis High School in the Sandburr (the School Yearbook).

Also, Bernice McKenzie is listed as the "Feature Article Editor" of the first edition of the Mem-Hi-Sko (the School Newspaper) published Oct 11, 1927.

There is also an account of a City Council Meeting in 1916 in which a F.W. McKenzie as a representative of International Harvester Company is negotiating with the City of Memphis to supply an oil engine to the Memmphis Light, Heat & Power Company.
