My aunt was sent there in about 1935 as a teenager because he father was dying and no one was left to care for her or would care for her--long depressing story. She suffered moderate brain damage at birth. Now I am wondering if she could possibly still be alive or if she died, where did they bury her? Her name was Vera May Hoggard--born in 1919 and 2 of her sisters live to 90 plus years. I have read all your notes with interest and have tried to find out something over the phone--no luck! I live in Denver but go back home to Kansas City often. Could drive over to Marshall but really don't know what good it would do since anyone affiliated with the hospital system there is not allowed to discuss anything about the patients because of the government agency called HIPA. Makes you wonder how bad it could have been to know how the history of that hospital is hidden from the public. Suggestons?
