i would like to definetly know if he is the son of edward page&elizabeth ware wood page? i,ve had some tell me that he is and some say that he isn,t so which is it? supposedly my george wood page was born in staunton,virginia,,,yes edward page had land near staunton,at rockfish gap at the blueridge mountains.apparently edward page bought the william h.turner place.i think edward,s children were all born there.but if i am correct george wood page was born 1826 not 1824.it is my opinion that the george w.page buried in the fish creek cemetery is the son of edward page.
