Her name was Elva May Gainer. She was only 9 or 10 yrs old. From what I was told by family she was handicapped, mentally probably, and she became sick and the family couldn't take care of her. No one has ever known where she was buried until I found her death certificate recently. They never knew her very well because the rest of the children were small. No one has visited her grave since she died. I want desperately to find her grave so I can try to visit it for my grandmother. She died in early 1900's. I wrote to the Mo Dept of Mental Health and they said I'd have to get a court order to obtain records for her, she has been dead 92 years. That just doesn't seem right in my book, but I know they have rules.

Does anyone know where that cemetery is located in Marshall, MO?
