State hospital in Marshall

I found an ancestor of mine that died at the Missouri Colony in Marshall, MO. I guess this is the State Institution in Marshall. It also said he was buried there, is there a separate cemetery for the people who died there? Does anyone know how a person can obtain records for the institution back in 1915? Any info would be appreciated.
