James R. Smith was born about 1816 in Wilson County, Tennessee and died 08 Jan 1891? in Saline County, Missouri. He married Patsey Ann Overton who was born 22 Aug 1831 in Kentucky and died 29 Sep 1898 in Saline County, Missouri. They were married 17 Sep 1854 in Scott Co Illinois. Patsey was Jamesí second wife.

I would like any information on the family of James and Patsy. They are both buried in Ridge Park cemetery near Marshall in Saline County. Their known children, also buried in Ridge Park cemetery, are

There were other children, but I do not know if they lived in Saline County.        This family was in Scott County, Illinois in the 1830-1879 time frame. I have additional information on Jamesí parents and siblings.
