I am looking for any information on Mary (Winfrey) EARP-ARNOLD mother to Will Ann Ford. Will Ann EARP was the wife of Bill Ford. They lived in the bottoms around the Missouri River between Grand Pass and Waverly Missouri. The last time I found her (Mary) is in the 1920 Saline County Missouri Census living with her sister, Mary Norvell. She did not show up in 1930 one.
She was born in Coffee County Tennessee around 1831 the oldest daughter to James and "Milky" (Smothers) Winfrey. She would later marry William Earp who is killed in the Civil War. William and Mary had three daughter, Sarah (died September 21, 1899 in Lafayette County Missouri)who married James "Jim" Ford (died June 21 1961 in Excelsior Spring, Clay County, Missouri)brother to Bill Ford, Will Ann (died May 7, 1941 in Grand Pass, Saline County, Missouri) who married William "Bill" Ford(died December 1, 1942 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Missouri. There was also another sister that I have not been able to get much info on and that is Evalina "Lena" she was supposievly married to a man with either the last name of Duke or Drake. She may have married a man with the last name of Fletcher later on.
I would very much appreciated any info on Mary and her family. I would really like to find out when and where she died, and possible where she was buried. Also any information that any one has about this family that might have been around when this family lived in the "Missouri River Bottoms".
Any information would be appreciated. Spelling of names may vary. Thanks in advance
