Thanks for writing--I am sure that these Lawless men were descendants of the early Lawless family. I grew up in Sweet Springs (graduated from high school there in 1961), and have some memory of a Dr. Lawless who was County Coroner during that time, I think. I don't remember the store owner in Marshall, however.

I am hoping to visit the County Recorder's office soon so I can spend some time working through early Arrow Rock Lawless deeds--hope I can possibly unearth some family relationships through these.

My ancestry is Benjamin Lawless m. Elizabeth Samuel>Barzilla Lawless m. James Riggins>John M. Riggins m. Eliza Louisa Henley>Mary Jane Riggins m. William Thomas Clark>Mary Jane Clarke m. Richard Lester Wall>William Richard Wall m. Lucile Caroline Waite>Elizabeth Clarke Wall (me!)
