His parents I think are Adam and Nancy Elizabeth and he was gone from home by 1850.
However I'm sure this is the same John L.Scott that is on the Clackama Co.Or. Census in 1870 PAGE 164 WITH WIFE Diana. William P. Scott with wife Margaret is living next
door........ It must be his brother......and William P. named one of his daughters Ruhama and If I'm looking at all this correct was William Sister's name
