SARAH CARLISLEAND SPICER MCCLENAHAN
Posted by: Jim McClenahan Date: January 03, 2000 at 14:08:15
  of 265

Spicer, son of John McClenahan, born abt. 1824 in Ste. Genevieve Co., married Sarah Carlisle, Aug. 13, 1846 also in Ste. Gen. Co.
Believe her father to be Robert Carlisle, who was a Justice of the Peace in Jackson Township. Spicer and Sarah disappear after 1850 census. Spicer found on 1870 census of Hopkins County, Texas, working on a farm and
living with a 14 year-old housekeeper. Sarah has disappeared. Would dearly love enlightenment on this.
