Adda, the Dequire family website must be mistaken on ***this*** Matilda DEQUIRE. I have solid proof from Church recordsof her marriage and death. (see the end of the file!)

1. LOUIS DEGUIRE DIT2 LAROSE (ANDRE DEGUIRE DIT1) was born 26 October 1773 in Ste. Genevieve Dist., Upper Louisiana Territory, and died 1863 in Ste. Genevieve, MO. He married MARIE DODGE 13 November 1798 in Ste. Genevieve Dist., Upper Louisiana Territory. She was born 1783, and died February 1821.
Children of LOUIS LAROSE and MARIE DODGE are:
i. LOUIS3 DEGUIRE, b. 17 October 1799, Ste. Genevieve Dist., Upper Louisiana Territory; d. 09 March 1825, Perry Co., MO1.
ii. THEOTISTE DEGUIRE, b. August 1801, Ste. Genevieve Dist., Upper Louisiana Territory; m. FRANCIS BEQUETTE, 22 February 1819, Ste. Genevieve Dist., Upper Louisiana Territory.
iii. MATILDA DEGUIRE, born 17 April 1805, Ste. Genevieve District, Upper Louisiana Terr.; died 15 March 1825, Perry Co., MO1; married PETERJOSEPH TUCKER, 20 January 1824, Perry Co., MO2; b. 11 January 1802, Illinois (en route)3; d. 16 January 1880, Perry Co., MO4.
