Lalumaudiere/Lalumondier: Soldat de Marigny

A question for anyone who might know the answer:

What is the significance of "Soldat de Marigny?" I've been trying to find information on the Internet but keep coming up with vague references to memorials and hotels. Does anyone know?

Also, from whence does the appellation "dit LeFleur" come from?
