Eleanor,He may have been in La.Territory even earlier.Index to Spanish Grants show 8 Rogers. 2 are especially interesting, "Adeston Rogers",B-286,and "Ad Rogers",E-70,227.Other Rogers are;"Benj.,B-369,James,B-345,John,E-207,Lewis,E-204,Robt,A-431,and Ezekial,B-123".Most Americans were issued grants 1790-1804.
