Thank you for finding this information for me, I felt certain that the G.A.R. would have put a marker on this old soldiers grave. The man's story was so interesting, it really appealed to me and I am glad to know that he found a place of rest where ocassionally someone might stop and think of him. If you're interested in reading the entire article, I'll e-mail it to you, I thought it was a bit lengthy to post on this forum, or I'll post it here if you think it would be alright. lmb
