Is the name Desbrow familiar to you? I have a hunch that this was the americanization of Desborough or maybe something similar. This was my great grandmother's name and it is said that she came from France. I also got a hunch that altho of French extraction, she was probably born in Missouri...probably very near St Louis or in a nearby county. I have hit this brick wall so many times, its a wonder it is still standing!!
Thanks for whatever help anyone can send my way.
Bev Bond
