Slaves Bill and and negro woman Hagan (Spelling) to have aand to hold during her natural life in widowhood. 2nd.---My will and desire is that the negros that I may own at my demise shall be hired out during the life of my wifeMilly and for to have control of the money arising.from during her life. 3rd----at the death of my said wife Milly I ? my property disposed of as follows.I bequeath to my children Emiline Howell,Parmelia Ann Howell,Anna Flissing?,Elizabeth Huddleston,Hanna B.Howell,Jacob B.Campbell,James A..Campbell,John Campbell,Francis ?.Campbell,David McDonald Campbell,Nancy Russell(my line),and to the heirs of Stephen White to wit Maty White,James M.White and Milly ? White my grandchildren an equal portion of all my estate or what may be at the death of my wife,the said 3 grandchildren to keep one share. It is my families wish that sixty dollars be taken from the share of Elizabeth Huddleston which sum I bequeath to Francis marion Campbell my son and 40 dollars be taken from the share of Permilia Ann Howell which I bequeath to my son David McDonald Campbell and also the sum of twenty dollars over and abovethe share of the balance of my children--I do hereby appoint my sons Joseph B.Campbell,James A Campbell executors to this my last will and testament.It is my further wish that if it should become necessary to sell my negros for portion that they have the privelege of choosing a master.Oct 14 1856 Washington Co.Mo.
