Peter was a circuit court judge in 1821.
A William Grant appears as a pioneer in Ralls
Co, MO along with Peter Grant. Maybe this is
a clue.
William & Peter's names appear in an article
written by Judge John Megown in the
"1878 Edwards Atlas of Ralls County".
Maybe you can find this book and more info.
