Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Thank you for the kind offer. Lots of McPhersons buried there, and all were my ancestors and family mmembers. However, when I was last there, I could not find the graves of the "original" McPhersons - Stephen McPherson, a founding member of the church, died in 1847, and his wife, Cecilia, who died much later - in the 1870's, I believe. Any information you might find would be much appreciated. If the graves can be located, we'd like to put up new markers as my late Aunt did for other family members.
