$1,000 reward offered for information on church fire

A $1,000 reward is being offered by Ralls County Mutual Insurance for information leading to an arrest and conviction regarding a recent fire in rural Ralls County.

The insurance company offered the reward for the March 29 fire in which the historic Centenary Church was destroyed, along with a tractor that was parked nearby.

Losing the tractor is what caused the company to offer the reward.

Missouri Fire Marshal Bill Albis has reported the fire was ruled incendiary. He requested anyone with information about the person who started the fire call the Ralls County Sheriff's Department at (573) 985-5611 or the state arson hotline at 1(800)39-ARSON
