i haven't read all the follow ups to your original query but david burns who md margaret franks died likely in grant co before october 1838....see grant county orders, january 1840 which names david's heirs...he last appears on the 1838 grant county tax lists;his widow margaret franks appears first on the 1840 tax list.margaret is living with her son george burns in the 1860 grant county census, david burns SON OF SAMUEL BURNS AND EVE FRANKS...MARRIED MARGaret points 1842 grant county...this is the family you see in missouri and iowa
