We can all be a "probable" pain sometimes.
A week or so ago a lady from Maryland e-mailed me that she was going to the National Archives and said she would check for my grgrgrmothers CW pension papers. this was in response to an old query.
Mailed me 10 pages of material that proved my grgrgrfather was buried in the National Cemetery in Keokuk, Ia. in Sept. 1863. Died from chronic diarrhea during the CW. I had found a Oliver Perry Moore buried there in 2005 or 2006, but, there were kids born ater his death.
Don't know what grgrgrma was doing, but, she had children with someone.
Did also find out the birthdate and middle initial of the only son who lived till adulthood and I haven't found yet.
Gave me a son born before Oliver died in 1863 that I didn't know about.
So, don't give up hope.
