I know where his widow Learh Dixon, son Huet, and daughter Caroline are buried in southeastern Putnam county (I have pictures). But, I'm not sure where Samuel died and is buried. Her stone just reads, "Learh, wife of Samuel". She was 20 years younger than Samuel and she didn't die until 1878. If Samuel is buried next to her, he just might be the first burial in Putnam county! I only know he was born in 1785 and died in 1835 (family stories attribute his death to a tree falling on him). My subscription to access death records, etc. has expired.
If anyone knows where Samuel is buried, I would appreciate the information.
thanks, Don Dixon
