Hi, Bev,

Did David Burns, JR and Margaret Peggy Franks die in KY or MO? Would you know the dates of deaths? I am grgranddaughter of John P. Burns born 1846, married to Sara Frances Guffey. With so many David Burns it is confusing to me to follow. A Jill Burns posted to rootsweb in 2002 that David, b.1820 KY., (father of John P Burns, b.1 May 1846 in Putnam Co) was married to Margaret Points, b. 4 Oct. 1821 in Grant Co KY. and married 7 Sept. 1842 in Grant KY. She lists Children: William b.1843, Grant KY, Sara Elizabeth b.1844 Putnam MO, John P. b.1 May 1846,Putnam, MO, Thomas b. Aug 1848, Appoanoose IA, James Samuel, b.16 April 1849, Appoanoose IA, David, b.1852, Appoanoose IA, Eliza Juliva, b.1855, Appoanoose IA, F.P. b.1856, Andrew, b. 16 April 1856, Arminda Drucella, b. 27 Oct. 1859, Centerville, Appoanoose, IA and Catherine b. 13 March 1865 Unionville, Putnam, MO. She also has father of David as James. David and Margaret died in IA.
1880 census Exira, Audubon, IA shows a david Burns, age 60, farming and wife (#2?)Martha, age 56, and Children Andrew age 24 and Catherine age 15.
Are you familiar with any of this information?
Any input you have will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
