Looking for information on William P Shanklin born abt 1810 in VA. Married Jaly/Jaley born abt 1808 VA.

Children taken from 1850 Dodge and Putnam Co. MO Census

Mary A abt 1833 VA
Elvina abt 1835 VA
Manerva abt 1840 MO
John abt 1844 MO
Almantha abt 1845 MO
Admarida abt 1849 MO

William was in Putnam Co. from Dec 1842 to at least 1882 when he attended the Settlers Reunion. Listed on the 1870 Putnam Census as a Preacher. Can not find him on the 1860 Census.

Also looking for Francis M Harless and Elvina Shanklin. They were married in 1856 in Putnam Co. Have not been able to find them on any Census. According to the 1880 Putnam Co. Census, their son Grant lists his father as born in Ohio and their daughter Viola lists him as born in Iowa. Their children that I know of were William born abt 1858, Viola 1859 and Grant 1868. In 1874 Putnam Co. MO, Elvina Harless married Daniel Ledford. Daniel's first wife was Margaret White. Somehow, Elvina Shanklin Harless Ledford's children are Daniel Ledford's grandchildren. Need help figuring that one out.

Thank you
