Looking for John Robinson/Roberson/Robertson born 1802 SC married before 1833 IL to a Susan ???? born IL.
Find them on the 1830 Macoupin county, IL census as John ROBERSON. Then 1840 Pulaski county, MO as John ROBINSON and 1850 Pulaski county, MO as John ROBERTSON. Census-takers in 1840 had all families with any of the three possible spellings as ROBINSON and 1850 had all as ROBERTSON.
1850 census has children as Lucetta 1833 IL, James N 1835 MO, William R. 1837 MO, Eliza Ann 1839 MO, John M. 1842 MO, and Nancy Ann 1844 MO
Where did this family go after 1850? Can find nothing on them after 1850. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
