Hello,
According to the Pulaski County History books, under marriage records:
Adkison, Granvil S. married Anderson, Martha J. (no date)
Adkison, James R. married Gan, Samantha 1876

There are also the following Adkison marriages:
Adkison, Dan & Reed, Effie
Adkison, John R. & Payne, Chloe 1903

Also, in an article titled: White-Robinson-Story-Cox and Relatives, I found the following mention:
"A foster child of Sam and Mary White was Granville Adkinson (1851 MO ?) who married Martha E. Anderson." and the follwing: "Smith Story (1833 NC ?) and his wife Mary Ann Crossland (1845 TN - 1913 MO) of the Mt. Gibson area had John (1867-1929) married Florida Ellen Riddle; Phebe Eliz. (1869-?) married (1) Jim Church (2) Geo. Hill; Elsie L (1870) may have died young; Wm. S. (1873-?) married (1) Lucy Lane (2) Rebecca Ann Adkinson (3) Flo Rayl; Martha Ann (Nar) (1876-?) married Joe York; Joe T. (1879-?) married Lucy McIntire; Silvanus J. (1882-?) married Esther McClary; and Sarah married Frank Harris (or Harrison)"

In another article I found the following: (kind long...hope it helps!)Gaede - Adkison
"Charles Albert Gaede born March 21, 1888, died September 29, 1967 was the fourth child of John Frederick and Lydia Francis Smith Gaede of Pulaski County, Missouri. He married Etta Adkison, born October 24, 1884, (died October 1, 1969) to Granvil Solomon and Martha Jane Anderson Adkison of Hannah, Pulaski County, Missouri. They were married at the home of the bride's parents February 10, 1910, by J.W. Blalock, Minister of the Gospel. The young couple farmed, owned a general store in Evening Shade and later a store at Bloodland. Etta taught school for a while after marriage. Finally, they purchased the John Frederick Gaede farm on the Big Piney river and lived there until construction of Fort Leonard Wood; then they moved to Morgan County, Missouri. Their first child, Dorsey, was born at the Adkison home in Licking, Texas County, Missouri. The other children, Mary, Hazel, Donna, Roy and Dorothy were born in Pulaski County, Missouri. Dorsey adn Mary (Mrs. Frank Pyle) are deceased. Hazel married Duncan McDonald, son of William and LuLu Carrell McDonald of the Big Piney community. Donna married Ben Imler, Roy married Alice Witherspoon and Dorothy married Douglas Chenault. All reside in Kansas City, Missouri area. Johannn Heinrich Gaede born December 21, 1827 in Breitenfeld, Prussia (Germany) and wife Marie Elizabeth Miller Gaede born November 28, 1830, Laggau, Prussia brought their family to America in 1870, They purchased land in Edwards County, Illinios and became citizens April 10, 1883. Their fourth child John Fred (Gada), father of Albert Gaede, moved to Pulaski County and lives with an uncle, Henry Koenecke (Kanaka). Granvil S. Adkison, father of Etta, was born in Pulaski County, Missouri and lived mostly near the Fairview Chrus but moved to Texas County in 1910.
