Charles Sharp and his wife, Eliza were in 1860 census--he was 32 and she was 28--children were Eli-Oliver-James-and a baby Ellen or eliza. what happened to charles and eliza--by 1870 census their children are scattered living with friends and family. Eli is in Laclede working on a farm-James and mary are in Camden, and looks like Oliver is working in St Louis as young child! Who took the baby girl? anyone see names on cemetery records? Mary C was born in 1862--so something happened between 62-70.
