Hello Mary!

I have been searching for a long time on any information that I could get on Emily Elam. When I came across the Pulaski History book I was elated but also confused. I have been searching for my GG Grandfather and this is about all I know. Emily was the daughter of Joseph H. Elam and Delilah Adams. I've been told that she had later married a George Buckner after my G Grandfather Charlie Elam was born. He carried the Elam name so I don't know what to think. I've asked quite a few family members but no one seems to know and now I see she had two other husbands that no one knew about. I'm just hoping someone might have some answers. I've been told that he was Cherokee but then again so was Emily partly so who knows.
