Loveladys, Laytons, and Newbys

I have ancestors who were early settlers and very busy people in Platte County. James Lovelady was a preacher at what became the Salem Church, and his brother Andrew Jackson Lovelady is my 5X great grandfather. Andrew Jackson Lovelady married Judy Newby, daughter of Nathan Newby. Two of his daughters, Sarah "Sallie" Lovelady and after Sallie's death, Nannie Lovelady married Perry Smithers Layton. PS Layton was the son of Judge James H. Layton and Sarah "Sallie" Smithers. Many of these family members are buried in the old Newby Cemetery. We are looking for any information available on these ancestors, and are especially hoping that somewhere out there, there may be pictures of some of them, and maybe the homes they lived in? - Im also in need of birth and/or death records, obituaries, and wills of these good folk as well. I'm afraid Ive done just about all I can think to do at this point, and have hit the proverbial wall. - I can be reached here, or, if its easier, at my personal email address: onapodium@aol.com - I've got my fingers crossed!
- Thanks, Diana Todd
