I have no trace of Rachel or Elizabeth Barnes

I have no trace of Rachel or Elizabeth Barnes prior to their marriages. James J. Mooneyham and his brother, Joseph William Mooneyham, were born in Cocke County, Tennessee. They migrated to Texas via Missouri with the Peters Colony before July 1844. James J. married Elizabeth Barnes May 22, 1840, in Platte County, Missouri. William had married Elizabeth's sister, Rachiel Barnes b. 1818, Jul 3, 1836, in LaFayette County, Missouri. Both men arrived in Texas "with family. If anyone has information on Rachel and Elizabeth's family of origin, please contact me. I have a whole branch of my family tree missing and so do many others. They had to have parents. Please check your family tree for a Barnes Family with two daughters Rachel or (Rachiel) and Elizabeth. I don't have a birth year on Elizabeth. But Rachel was born in 1818.
