Census Lookups - 1860 & 1870
Posted by: Martha Date: September 18, 2001 at 06:28:36

Am needing census lookups in Platte County for the years of 1860 and 1870. In 1860, there should be a William Phillips, wife Recia Mary, and maybe four sons. William died in the war when he was 42. (The wife's name may not be spelled correctly.)
In the 1870 census, it should show only the wife, and at least two small children. One of the children's names should be Shelton James Phillips, and he would have been about 9. Recia died from measles at the age of 62.
If anyone would be able to look these up, I would be very appreciative.
Thank you.
