I am looking for relatives from Louisiana, Mo who can help me with my search. As a child in the 1950's I remember visiting Aaron & Edith Niffen in Louisiana. I also remember Becky Niffen, she was my age. My grand mother was Opal Ladina(Darnell) Clemons, She died 1922 or 23 in
Pike County Illinois but they always had close ties to the
Louisiana side. When my grandmother died at a young age
the family kind of fell apart and my mother was put in an
orphanage. It was probably pretty hard on her so she would never share any family background with me. As a young child I always remembered the trips to Louisiana with
my aunt & uncle Della & Joe Jewett. Please share this with
the older Niffen's of Louisiana, they would probably remember.
