The 7 Sep 1928 issue of the Tuckerman Record newspaper from Tuckerman, Jackson Co., AR carried an announcement of the marriage of Sallye WILLIAMSON to Dr. Charles L. POWELL Jr. of Louisiana, MO. According to the article, Dr. POWELL had been practising dentistry in Louisiana, MO for the previous three years. His parents, Dr. and Mrs. C. L. POWELL Sr., lived in Elsberry, MO at the time.
I'm looking for researchers or descendants of this couple. I would also like to learn the exact date of their marriage (no date was given in my article), and when and where Charles Jr. and Sallye passed away and are interred.
The SSDI lists a Sallye POWELL's death in January 1976, last residence Washington, D. C. - I'm not positive that this is the same Sallye.
