hello..i am looking for information about my great grandmother, nancy jane dean, born in 1869 in phelps county, missouri????
first of all i dont believe she was the 'birth' daughter of alexander carroll and susannah jane dean dean...
her daughter, my grandmother, always told me that she quite plainly stated that she, nancy jane, was adopted and that she was 'eligible' for 'oklahoma oil allotment money', and the for some reason, totally lost to time, never claimed it...
does anyone there know any of her half brothers and sisters by her father's second wife, sarah woolsey dean...this is a family mystery that gets more and more remote as time passes...thank you...
