My g-g- uncle Amos Sanders died in Smithton MO Jan. 21, 1862. He was a Union soldier with the 42nd regiment out of Illinois. I'm trying to find out where they buried the Union soldiers in Smithton area. I have checked some of the cemetery's, with no luck.
