Eleanor Amyx was b. ca. 1814 Virginia, She married Joseph P. Walker April 2,1832 in Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia with Silas Taylor standing surety for them.[Bedford Co., Virginia Marriage Bonds] From Bedford Co., Virginia they went to Kentucky where they were on the 1840 Fleming Twp., Fleming Co., Kentucky Census. From there they then went to Pettis Co., Missouri and were on the 1850 Census, 1860 Census showed them in Heaths Creek Twp., MO. They had one child born in Fleming the rest born in Missouri.
Eleanor apparently died between 1860 and 1870 as she is not on the 1870 census. Her burial place is not known. I believe her to be the daughter of Andrew Amyx and Elizabeth Taylor Amyx. They have a daughter Eleanor not accounted for, however I have no proof and would appreciate any help in this no matter how small.
Ruth
