Who can identify this:

Dont send my son to Farmington,
For I have ever been considerate;
Pray, keep him away from Jackson,
I want no heir of mine Illiterate!
But send little Bill to Perryville,
And thence to Eli Yale,
But rather than Cape Girardeau,
I'd see my boy in ----

r.h.

This struck me as genius...very impressive. If you know where it appeared I will gladly give you the book. Anyone know who wrote it?
