Joan, thanks for taking the time in case I needed it!!

Those MOSSEY and KLINE names were murdered when spelled in Perry Co., MO. Mary MOSSEY'S father spoke FRENCH as his native language. Her ENGLISH speaking mother died by the time she was five years old.

William KLINE (CLAIM <sic.> and worse...) was the son of two GERMAN speaking parents. They did, however, speak ENGLISH later on.

I wonder how Mary and William communicated!
