There are no German Funeral Home Records available prior to 1940. Earlier records were stored in a garage behind the funeral home and were destroyed by fire.

The obituary dated July 20, 1933 says Forrest Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pepples passed away a hour midnight Wednesday at the Blytheville hospital, where he had been taken Wednesday afternoon. (I copied it exactly as the newspaper printed it. I assume it meant about an hour before midnight). My Mt. Zion cemetery list shows 3/ /1933-7/12/1933.
