Thanks so much for your response. I am going to try to get information on Fred from the funeral home that now has his funeral and burial records. Hopefully, that will tell me where he died so I can order his death certificate. I suppose it's possible that the funeral home records might even have his parents' names, making a death certificate unnecessary. If this doesn't work out, I will try ordering from Arkansas, since that seems to be the most likely place he would have died. Thanks again for your help.
