My gggrandfather was Jesse B. Ellis listed in the 1910 Little Prairie Caruthersville census with his wife Mid, daughters Addie, Lois and a son listed last as age 10 (older than the 2 girls) as Jack Woods. He is not listed as laborer or worker, but son. However, he has different last name. This family is living next door to Dr. Charles Woods, his wife Lela ? and son Elist. I am trying to find out any info on either of these families, ELlis or Woods. I am wondering if Dr. Charles WOods was Mid Ellis' brother, or ex husband? Trying to find the relationship of this Jack Woods to the Ellis family. If any one has any info on either Jack WOods, DR. Charles WOods,or Jesse B. Ellis, any info would be greatly appreciated.
