I am trying to trace information about Richard E. Dillingham, believed to have been a Judge and carpenter in Pemiscot Co. where they had settled in 1871.
Richard died between the 1880 and 1900 census but I think sons and daughters remained in the Hayti area, possibly marrying into the Wells, Boon, Henson, Grubbs and / or Talley families?
Son John may have married a Sarah (Talley?) about 1908-1910
Son James (Mayes)may have married a Mary Grubbs or Boon perhaps between 1892 and 1900
Daughter Nannie may have married a Charles Wells about 1895-1900
As a reasonably prominent citizen, I am guessing that Richard's death would have resulted in an obituary, but I do not know precisely when he died or where he or any other members of the family are buried.
Any clues or help would certainly be appreciated
