Cottonwood Point MO/Taylor Cemetery
Posted by: Kim Taylor (ID *****4740) Date: April 12, 2002 at 11:55:21

I'm appealing to anyone who might help me locate my family. My Taylors, Tom and Nancy (Melton) lived in the Cottonwood Point area when it could have possibly been Dyer Co. TN. If you live in the area of Cottonwood Point and the Taylor Cemetery and have knowledge of this family or can easily go to the cemetery and look for names, I would be most grateful. My Tom Taylor was killed by bushwackers after the civil war, his wife Nancy's last name was Melton, they had John Daniel Taylor (my great grandfather, 1861-1913), William, and Albert. One of the other two boys had two daughters named Minnie and Nannie. They moved to Steele, MO. I live in Hardin Co. TN and am close to Decatur, Perry, Wayne Co. and if I can reciprocate your kindness I will be more than happy. PLEASE someone help me! Thank you, Kim Taylor
